The geological history trail is marked out at 8 stages where you'll find information desks. Along the way, on the heights of the Sarthe, be surprised by the mountainous character of the Alpes Mancelles.

The Saint-Léonard-des-Bois site allows us to retrace the 600 million years of history that have shaped the rocks and the landscape. Two loops can be explored successively or independently, forming a 10km circuit that will take you back in time. Following the pebbles of the St-Léonard paths, you will climb to the summits of the Alpes
Mancelles and discover some of the turbulent episodes in a geological history spanning almost 600 million years.
