Tiles and bricks, the metamorphosis of clay
Along the way, you'll discover a gently undulating, wooded landscape with many reminders of past and present farming and industrial activities.
Along the Anille Valley, discover Conflans-sur-Anille and see the 15th-century church of Saint-Maurice and the Château de la Barre. You'll also be able to see typical tile and brick houses.
In Coudrecieux, you can visit the church of Saint-Martin-des-Loges, the Domaine de la Pierre and its 19th-century château, and the 16th-century Manoir de la Cour with its vegetable garden.
On arriving in Semur-en-Vallon, make a stop at the museotrain where the "Compagnie du chemin de fer de Semur-en-Vallon" association takes you on a journey through the world of trains from 1900 to 1950. You can also visit the 11th-century castle and the Peace Museum.
Afterwards, make your way to Valennes via La Croix Mignon and, above all, through the Vibraye forest.
When you arrive in Valennes, don't miss the Church of Saint-Etienne, the wash-house and the Moulin de Courgady.
