Départ : MAMERS

Departing from the Maine Saosnois Tourist Office in Mamers, this route winds its way through the Marollais countryside of plains and fields. Take a break at René, a small artists' village with exceptional wooden covered market halls.

There are no major changes in altitude on this route, but its length may intimidate some. The interest lies in the discovery of small villages of interest such as Monhoudou, Courgains with its feudal mound with a geopole at its summit, Thoigné and its church, René and its 16th century covered market, Les Mées and its wash-house, Saosnes and its Gué Chaussée pond or Panon, a village where the inhabitants are "panombreux"!
You can hire an electrically-assisted bicycle from the Maine Saosnois Tourist Office - Information on 02 43 97 60 63.
