Départ : BERNAY-NEUVY-EN-CHAMPAGNE

This short 5km route takes you through the market towns of Bernay and Neuvy-en-Champagne.

Start/finish point: car park at the Bernay washhouse (outside the town, just after the bridge on the road to St Symphorien)

Start / Finish : Bernay washhouse car park (exit from the town, just after the bridge on the route de St Symphorien)
- From the large car park, head towards the town centre via the bridge over the Vègre.
- At the church crossroads, go straight ahead into rue du Mans.
- Then turn right onto Route d'Amné.
- Leave "La Champagne", and at the crow's feet, take the left-hand road.
- Turn left along the track to the D28.
- Cross the road (with care) and continue along the grass track until you reach the village of Neuvy.
- Go up the rue du lavoir and turn left into the rue de la Croix Rompue.
- At the cease and desist sign, cross the road (with care) and head towards the town of Bernay, following the green lane.

There are two options here:

- (1) Shortly before entering the town of Bernay, turn right and take the footbridge over the Vègre. Find a grassy path on the left that runs alongside the river and crosses several footbridges before returning to the starting point.
- (2) In the event of flooding, return to the starting point in the centre of Bernay.
