The Sarthe: Land of Trails! A range of routes combining technical difficulty and the discovery of varied landscapes for the trail community.
In order to select these quality routes, the Department has called on the experience of one of Sarth's leading trail runners: Nathalie Mauclair, twice world champion in the discipline. From novices to experts, you'll be able to practise your favourite activity on the routes that Nathalie regularly hikes during her various training sessions, while discovering the diversity and beauty of the Sarthe region.
Here, the trail will allow you to appreciate the listed natural site of the Alpes Mancelles, its relief and its scree slopes. The village of Saint-Léonard-des-Bois has a range of shops (restaurants, bakery, etc.) and facilities for trail runners, including showers.
The village has been awarded the "Petites Cités de Caractère" label.
