Le Lude has been awarded the "Petites Cités de Caractère" label. The Château du Lude and its French-style gardens are a must-see.
La Flèche, which has the Plus Beaux Détours de France label, also boasts a rich heritage (château des Carmes, moulin de la Bruère, halles au blé, prytanée national militaire...). The town, which is bathed by the River Loir, has some lovely views over the river. La Flèche Zoo is another must-see!
Between La Flèche and Le Lude, take a detour to discover the Petite Cité de Caractère (small town) of Luché-Pringé.
On the banks of the Loir, the guinguette "La Bamboche du Loir" offers a place to relax, eat and enjoy refreshments.
Practical info: Le Lude and La Flèche each have a campsite with the Accueil Vélo label!
