Close to the market town of Vaas and owned by the General Council, this site is made up of reedbeds and a series of wet meadows covering several dozen hectares.

From the path that crosses it, you can discover the remarkable species it shelters. This site is of major heritage and landscape interest in the département, as this type of environment is uncommon, scattered and often small in area.

Remarkable species to discover:
- Gratiola officinalis
- Marsh chickweed
- Water rail
- Marsh copper

Conservation management measures have been in place since 2006. A management agreement has been signed between the Département and a neighbouring farmer for the upkeep of the site, in order to preserve the floristic value of this area, which has been known since the beginning of the century.
