Office de tourisme de la Vallée du Loir – La Chartre sur le Loir

The Vallée du Loir Tourist Office has 4 reception points open throughout the Vallée du Loir: La Flèche and La Chartre sur le Loir are open all year round, while Le Lude and Château du Loir are open from April to the end of September. During the two summer months, a mobile visitor advisor is on hand at events and in the villages of the Vallée du Loir. The services on offer include: reception, tourist information, holiday advice, ticketing, events, hire of classic and electric-assist bicycles, development and promotion, not forgetting the shop with its wide choice of local products and its range of gifts in the colours of the Vallée du Loir.
The reception of the Loir Valley Tourist Office in La Chartre sur le Loir, called LA MAISON, Voyages & Vignes, houses a unique space dedicated to the wines of the Loir Valley!
This house invites you to discover the vineyards and their history, and offers you the chance to enjoy some unique tourist and tasting experiences based around the 2 AOC Coteaux du Loir (1948) and Jasnières (1937) wines.
The self-service wine by the glass dispenser lets you taste up to 6 of 72 wines from around twenty estates ready to open their doors to you (€5 for 3 wines or €8 for 6).
All summer long, LA MAISON voyages & vignes de la vallée du Loir will be organising events on site or in the vineyards! The promise of new discoveries, new emotions and new encounters...
