Bookbinding is the art of protecting and preserving a book. A bound book has a very long life. Some bindings date back to the Middle Ages.

Book restoration brings books back to life. It must be carried out according to the rules of the art. The book must retain its authenticity.

Patrice du Puy trained in Paris in the 13th arrondissement at the Lycée Tolbiac, a branch of the École Estienne. He studied for 2 years, alternating with a 10-month work placement in the bookbinding and restoration workshops of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France.
La Reliure du Puy's moral is quality and care for a job well done. The products used by the workshop are reversible and neutral. Antique elements are preserved as much as possible.

The Reliure du Puy workshop offers courses in bookbinding and the restoration of old books.
