Just 2 hours from Paris, the gîte de La Futaie was built in 1900 on a magnificent hectare of land nestling in the heart of the woods in the Sarthe countryside.
The gîte's charm lies in its open spaces and absolute peace and quiet. This haven of peace is the perfect place to spend some quality time in the heart of nature.
La Futaie is a house dating from the early 20th century with authentic charm, available all year round for a change of scenery just 10 minutes from Le Mans.
Completely renovated in 2024, La Futaie is a lovely holiday home that offers its residents a warm and welcoming environment, combining beauty and authenticity. An idyllic hideaway for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it's the perfect destination for recharging your batteries.
The entire house has been designed to provide a rejuvenating stay in the magnificent Sarthe region.
On the 1st floor: 3 contemporary double bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed (160x200cm) for two people, a bathroom with shower and private toilet. And a "dormitory" room with two single beds (90x190cm), one of which is in a wooden cottage. This spacious bedroom also has a large dressing room.
From the dormitory you have access to a large bathroom with bath and a separate toilet on the landing.
2nd floor: A beautiful, comfortable and intimate attic suite for an unforgettable stay in the countryside, with a king-size bed (180x200cm) for two people, an extra bed (90x190cm), a bathroom with bathtub and a private toilet.
The room is equipped with a TV screen and Wi-Fi, so you can stay connected while enjoying the privacy of your own personal space.
As the room has an attic, it is equipped with air conditioning.
The house is equipped to meet every need: new kitchen and appliances, wifi throughout the house, baby equipment, TV in bedrooms, library, garden table, etc.
Made-up beds and individual towels are provided for guests.
For classic vehicles, there is a carport on the property and a secure electric gate.
A cleaning charge of €150 (inc. VAT) is compulsory and additional for each stay.
