The Orangerie, comprising 2 gîtes, is the property's former noble house. Built after the Hundred Years' War, it was remodelled in neo-Gothic style in 1855 by the Ogier d'Ivry family. Left derelict for decades and almost in ruins, it was restored in the 1990s.
The 3 other gîtes are on the first floor of the old farmhouse, which enabled the owner family to live self-sufficiently. The Grand and Petit Appartements de la Ferme were originally converted into guest rooms in this typical farmhouse built in 1815 like the château.
All our gîtes are comfortable and pleasantly furnished, often with antique or rustic furniture. They generally have television, washing machines and dishwashers.
With the exception of the Appartement du Commun, each property has its own garden, with teak furniture, sun loungers and barbecue. All accommodation has car parking.
The new wooden cabins have been recently built and are scattered throughout the Wood area of the estate, blending in perfectly with the forest. These unusual accommodations on stilts are also eco-responsible, of very high quality and well insulated. They are all equipped with a bathroom and separate toilet, a fitted kitchen and maximum comfort. The wooden cabins at Château de Chanteloup sleep 5 to 7 people, making them ideal for groups of friends or family reunions.
