Le Mans restaurant in the heart of the Plantagenet City.
A graduate of the École française de gastronomie in Paris, François Ricordeau has worked in such prestigious establishments as the Georges V and the Carré des Feuillants. He used to work at Le Beaulieu in Le Mans, but it was in Canada, where he spent a year working in Old Montreal, that he got his inspiration. He set up rue de la vieille porte, in the Plantagenet City, and created "L'Épi'curieux", a gastronomic bistro right in line with his inspiration. Original, delicious, surprising... Awarded the "Jeune talent de l'Ouest" by the Gault & Millau gastronomic guide.
